This romantic drama is inspired by true stories from border areas. A young man tries to find the dowry to marry the girl he loves, but choices are limited one who is denied citizenship and who lives in a place that has been declared a national park.
The first film of Motha, the then 21-year Lahu man, received R.D. Pestonji Special Mention Certificate from the 16th Thai Short Film festival

ธนิต จำเริญสุขสกุล หรือ “โมทะ” ชาวลาหู่วัย 21 ปี เคยเป็นนักแสดงให้กลุ่มพี่น้องผองเพื่อนที่ทำหนังแอ็คชั่นกันในพื้นที่ ก่อนจะเข้าร่วมโครงการเกี่ยวก้อยของมูลนิธิเพื่อนไร้พรมแดนและกำกับหนังเองเป็นเรื่องแรก

This romantic drama is inspired by true stories from border areas. It tells of people who are forgotten by the Thai society. A young man tries to find the dowry to marry the girl he loves, but choices are so limited for one who is denied citizenship and who lives in a place that has been declared a national park.
Motha, 21, has appeared in action movies made by his brother and friends for distribution in Lahu villages. After he joined Friends Without Borders\’ Holding Hands Project, he proposed this romantic drama as his first film as the director.
