ทิตย์ ซาจ๊ะ หรือจะบื้อ ชาวลาหู่ ทำภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้เมื่อเขาอายุ 17 ปี ในขณะที่ตนเองยังคงไม่ได้รับการรับรองสัญชาติไทยเช่นกัน เข็มขัดกับหวี ได้รับรางวัลดีเด่นช้างเผือกพิเศษ จากเทศกาลภาพยนตร์สั้นครั้งที่ 16 และจะบื้อก็ได้เดินทางไปแลกเปลี่ยนกับเยาวชนญี่ปุ่น ภายใต้โครงการแลกเปลี่ยนเยาวชน KIZUNA ก่อนที่จะกลับมาพยายามเดินเรื่องขอการรับรองสัญชาติของตนจนสำเร็จในปีพ.ศ. 2557

Ja Bue, the Lahu director, made this film when he was 17, while he was also a stateless person. The film won the 2nd prize of Special White Elephant Award from the 16th Thai Short Film and Ja Bue consequently had a chance to participate in a youth exchange forum in Japan under KIZUNA project. He continued his struggle for the right to citizenship until 2014 that he was recognized as a Thai citizen

ดราม่าสั้นและเรียบง่าย บอกเล่าเรื่องราว ในหนึ่งวันของแม่และลูกชายไร้สัญชาติ บนดอยเชียงดาว เมื่อลูกชายเห็นว่าแม่ผู้มีผมยาวขาดหวีสำหรับสางผม แม่ก็รู้ว่าลูกไม่กล้าไปโรงเรียนเพราะขาดเข็มขัดนักเรียน

สุทิตย์ ซาจ๊ะ หรือจะบือ อายุ 17 ปี เป็นเยาวชนชาวลาหู่ที่กำลังค้นหาตนเองผ่านการทำหนัง เขาเข้าร่วมโครงการเกี่ยวก้อย ของมูลนิธิเพื่อนไร้พรมแดนและทำหนังเรื่องแรกถ่ายทอดจินตนาการที่ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากชีวิตจริงของตนที่ยังถูกรัฐไทยปฏิเสธสัญชาติจนถึงทุกวัน

A simple drama tells a story of one day in the life of a stateless mother and her son. While the son sees that his mother has nothing to comb her long hair, the mother knows her son does not dare to go to school as he has no uniform belt. 

Ja Bue, 17, is a young Lahu who is in search of his own identity via filmmaking. He participates in Friends Without Borders\’Holding Hands Project and decided to make a film that is inspired from his life as aperson being denied citizenship.
